Water Babies

Can you positively effect 70% to 90% of the molecular make-up of your self, your baby and your children?

This week are contemplating the virtue of ‘cleanliness’.  Cleanliness not only refers to personal hygiene and our physical surroundings, it also refers to our inner health and what we ‘feed’ our hearts via our environment. With this in mind, we thought it a timely opportunity to share with you the fascinating research of Dr Masaru Emoto.

Dr Emoto, author of ‘The Hidden Messages of Water’, discovered that molecules of water are clearly affected by specific music, thoughts, words and feelings.

Dr Emoto captured amazing photographs of frozen water crystals that were exposed to various kinds of music and language. Those exposed to gentle inspirational, classical music formed brilliant, clear, symmetrical crystals, while those exposed to heavy metal music, harsh, negative language, or were traumatised by earthquake or pollution, formed dirty, ugly and mis-shapen crystals.

Since newborn babies are 90% water (and the average adult body is about 70% water), his message has implications for personal health and wellbeing, and profound relevance to those of us who are with young children.

Imagine if, by simply using the words and language of the virtues, choosing gentle and loving language and tones, and playing classical music in their presence, we are positively affecting up to 90% of our children’s molecular structure!

Dr Emoto carried out extensive research and experiments demonstrating again and again the powerful implications of positive and negative environmental influences.

Water exposed to the words ‘love’ and ‘gratitude’, produced ‘wonderful crystals with a unique depth and refinement, a diamond-like brilliance.’

However, when water was exposed to heavy metal music, pollution or words of hatred and negativity, the crystals formed were murky, distorted, and asymmetrical.

When we combine this information with our knowledge of the importance of the first three years of brain development, we realise just what a profound opportunity and responsibility we have as parents of young children, and what a true blessing the virtues are as an educational tool for our children’s development.

We understand parenting can be a challenge, and that it is unrealistic to provide a stress-free environment 100% of the time. However, knowing the importance that our tone and language makes to 70%-90% of our children’s molecular make-up, may we all be inspired to use kind, positive, and thoughtful language whenever humanely possible.

If you’d like to test Masaru Emoto’s findings and try out for yourself the difference exposure to ‘positive’ and ‘negative’ environments makes to water and the crystals that are formed you can check out  the experiment below…

Experiment

Can thoughts and words affect water inside glass jars?

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

HYPOTHESIS

If words and thoughts are directed at water inside glass jars, it will be demonstrated that positive and negative words/thoughts can affect water.

MATERIALS

•  Three 500ml jars (or plastic water bottles)

•  Approximately 600mls of rice

•  Small funnel

•  Felt pen

OPTIONAL

•  Music Player (preferably portable)

•  Speakers or headphones

•  Classical music (or The Sound of Virtues CD) and heavy metal music on a music player

Alternatively you could try 2 different recordings of your voice – one saying negative things such as “I hate you, you never listen, you are so impatient, you are a liar etc” , the other repeating words of virtues affirmations such as, “You are peaceful, calm and loving. You are patient, thoughtful and trustworthy…”)

•  Ice tray

•  Freezer

PROCEDURE

Step 1

Gather three clean  500ml glass jars or plastic water bottles with lids.

Fill each jar/bottle with 200mls of water

Step 2

Using the funnel, add 200mls of rice to each water bottle

Step 3

Place caps/lids on water bottles/jars

Step 4

Using the felt pen, write “Love” on one water bottle, and “Hate” on the other bottle.  Do not write anything on the last bottle; it will remain as a neutral control.

Step 5

Place the three bottles about 30cm apart in a room in which the temperature will remain the same and the bottles will be relatively undisturbed.

Step 6

Once every day, say “I love you” to the first bottle, “I hate you” to the second bottle, and ignore the third (control bottle).

Step 7

Additionally, after 1 week, play classical music (or your positive voice affirmations / The Sound of Virtues) in front of the first  bottle and heavy metal  (or your negative voice affirmation recording) in front of the other one. Once more, ignore the control.

Step 8

After two weeks to four weeks, observe the bottles. Note any changes or differences between the bottles.

Step 9

Optional – when finished, place the water from each bottle/jar in an ice tray. Be sure to keep the water from the three different bottles separated.

Step 10

Place ice tray in freezer for about three hours.

Step 11

Remove ice tray from freezer and observe ice. Note any observations and differences.

We’d love to hear the results of your experiments!
